About Me

Currently working on

I recently finished building Nomiyo - a real-time live video app where city guides broadcast their location and viewers can "portal in" for 1-on-1 conversations. Built with React Native, LiveKit (WebRTC), and Firebase. Check it out here: [https://github.com/gareev-bulat/Nomiyo]

Currently learning

I'm deepening my knowledge in Mobile development, specifically native Android and iOS development.

Experience

Android Engineering Co-op at Urban Outfitters (Nuuly), where I shipped production features across two warehouse systems and built a self-service returns app from scratch, now processing ~40 returns/week.

Fun fact

My first "production release" wasn't software in the cloud—it was a LEGO Mindstorms robot that I demoed at a robotics festival.
