If at some point you have some time and want to do it, I think it would be awesome if the non-highlighted text could turn dark gray instead of white, like when using the flash plugin for example. It would be easier on the eyes and increase contrast between matches and non-matches, making them even easier to spot. Maybe have a gray default and a config option to customize the non-match color for example...
