Feature request: Untitled buffers

First, Thank you for the hard work and for creating innovate products developers actually need! (Love the math feature)

I tried, although I might have not put enough effort

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
This might be a bit (probably very) picky, I would love to be able to just skip the part where I have to name the buffer, 99% of the time I just want a clean new scratch, and getting stuck on the name stops me at my track, I feel like there are very rare occasions where I really need a named scratch, specially if its saved a buffer anyways.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would love it, if "Shift+CMD+N" or similar would just create a new buffer instantly "Scratch 1" / "Untitled 2" / "cool random name of a cookie", no questions about where, and how, it really doesn't matter, if the scratch turns out to be important, I can rename it later

Describe alternatives you've considered

• bashing my head on the keyboard to gen a random name
• Just not creating more buffers
• Making the first line of the buffer the name of the buffer? (also like sublime text I guess)
• Going back to sublime text cuz I get confused

Additional context
I started using haynote, due to the buffers feature, I have been abusing this buffer feature of sublime text for years, all my notes are just untitled tabs, that I keep open, until I am sure I no longer need this info, I sometimes have untitled tabs that live for years until I decide to "clean my scratch pad", cuz it gets out of hand sometimes.
Other than that these untitled pages are for real just there to stay, and it helps sublime shows the first line of the unnamed file as the title of the tab, it keeps the flow flexible.
I don't know how dumb this sounds, but needing to think of a name to the new scratch file is actually stopping me from using heynote. I have a very serious case of ADHD, and thinking of a name for a buffer that I don't actually care about, makes me stop and get confused, I literally just stare at the input field not knowing what to do, until I just type "wot" or "pojdpaosd" or just straight up give up, today I was about to start typing notes to a meeting, and literally just stopped and open sublime, because it was easier to not think of a name, horrible, I know

I'm using Heynote very much like this, but instead of creating a new buffer I just hit Cmd + N (in the default Scratch buffer) and start typing. If it turns out to be important I later hit Cmd + S and move the block either into a completely new buffer, or into an existing buffer that happens to "match" the block. Hitting Cmd + Shift + Enter will create a new block and scroll down so that only the new block is visible (I don't really use this, but it can be useful if you get distracted by the blocks above).

Maybe this workflow could work for you too?

So I was initially a bit confused by your comment, but I then realized you probably mean the Cmd + Shift + Enter command, correct? that scrolls all the way to the bottom, (the Cmd+N prompts the create new buffer popup).
I think its a bit less intuitive for me, among other things cuz I sometimes use different pages for different clients, and I will most likely accidentally scroll up or down while in a call and reveal stuff I shouldn't while screen-sharing etc.
Plus the Cmd+S makes the selected block disappear without moving you to the newly created scratch which was confusing to my brain.
The blocks feature is very useful, in my head though, what makes them so strong and very useful is when they belong together, if you can my meaning? it ends up making heynote behave like semi jupyter notebook. where one part is markdown, another is math, and a third is a piece of code, so I am less likely to break off into a different subject in the same scratch, if that makes sense?

I actually went ahead and added the Cmd + Shift + N as a feature already, I've submitted a PR in case you missed it. The implementation was fairly easy, I used the same method but skip the user prompt.
This is of course your product, and I understand if you would reject the implementation/PR.
On my end I have been finding it a lot easier to chaotically create a lot of scratches with nonames and dealing with them later.

Regardless of your decision though, thank you for your efforts and contribution to the dev community 🙏🏽

I also organize notes/blocks into different buffers depending on the context. That said, I use the default Scratch buffer as a mixed space for quick, unstructured blocks. It lets me just hit Cmd + Enter and start typing immediately, without having to name or create a buffer first. If something turns out to be worth keeping, I can always save it later with Cmd + S, either to an existing buffer or a new one.

No worries - suggestions are always welcome.

That said, I’m a bit undecided on this particular feature. It encourages a different workflow from the one I’m aiming for, and even small additions can add up. Many small features have been suggested, and if I would have included them all, Heynote would have been a worse program with less focus and more clutter.

I totally agree, would you like me to try to make my case for this feature and how it fits in the product? Cuz I do think it aligns perfectly with the general paradigm
