Question -- How to use the spellchecker to correct words?

I think it's premature to say this is a bug or feature request, but with spellcheck enabled, I see a red dotted line underneath mispelled words but no option or menu item to choose a corrected version (which many/most spellcheckers I've seen have). Is this available somewhere but I missed it, or if not would it be possible to add this feature?

I'm on MacOS 26.6 with Heynote version 2.9.1 if that's relevant.
