What changed

• Ship CodexNotes as a Universal 2 app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
• Make the first-launch note window more compact and adaptive, with a command to restore the display-appropriate default size.
• Keep the Settings and note windows open together so editor changes can be reviewed live.
• Remove the redundant simulated editor preview and keep the live sizing guidance and restore actions.
• Preserve the note window across Settings interactions and Codex availability changes.
• Extend CI to cover Xcode 15.4 arm64, current arm64, macOS 15 Intel, and Universal packaging.
• Bump the app to 1.4.70 (build 90).

Why

The release improves first-run sizing, makes Settings useful alongside the real note window, and provides one notarized Universal download for both Mac architectures.

Validation

• 585 Swift tests passed: Probe 389/389 and Core 196/196.
• Localization parity passed for 293 keys in Simplified Chinese and English.
• Universal packaging passed for arm64 and x86_64 with macOS 14.0 minimum-version checks.
• The installed v1.4.70 app passed strict all-architecture code-sign verification.
• The installed UI was checked in Chinese and English; the simulated preview is gone and both editor sliders remain accessible.
• All 12 Markdown note files, stored editor values, language preference, and main-window frame remained unchanged.

Compatibility note

The x86_64 slice is built and validated in CI. Full Codex integration on physical Intel hardware remains an explicit ongoing compatibility check.
