I am Pramesh Shakya and I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital working on developing visualization tools to support multi-omics data and more. My research interests lie in analyzing genetic and genomic data on a population scale and developing novel algorithms and software to facilitate such large-scale analysis. Currently, I am interested in the work being done in the pangenome space and its applications in genomics. My prior research is in developing positional Burrows-Wheeler Transform (PBWT) - based algorithms and tools to evaluate biobank datasets and its application in the field of population genetics, you can access it here.
