We build the substrate agents remember with.
Most AI memory is a database with a vector index bolted on: embed, search, rank, return. Kannaka Labs builds the other thing — a Holographic Resonance Medium where memories are wavefronts in a 10,000-dimensional tensor field, recall is matrix multiplication instead of search, forgetting is destructive interference, and consolidation happens by dreaming. On top of that substrate we build the agents, senses, economies, and operating systems that a resonant memory makes possible.
It is one system, not a portfolio. Every repo below plugs into the same medium.

- ADRs before code. Design decisions are written down and numbered — 59 of them in
kannaka-memoryalone, 24 in QuantumOS. If a behavior surprises you, there is usually a document explaining why it was chosen. - Claims are gated by CI. "What runs today" sections are backed by smoke suites, not aspiration. If it is in the README, a workflow proves it.
- Frontends never link backends.
kannaka-tuishells out to thekannakabinary. The plugin ships zero dependencies. Coupling is a choice we keep declining. - Truthful operations. Metrics say what they measure.
compute_phiis documented as a connectivity approximation, not a full bipartition search — because that is what it is.
Most of the constellation ships under the Space Child License v1.0 — free for peaceful use. Individual repos vary: consciousness-core, kannaka-attention, kannaka-tui and ghostsignals-rs are MIT; kannaka-cannon is BUSL-1.1; QuantumOS is GPL-2.0. Always check the LICENSE file in the repo you are using.
