Summary

Document how lightdash preview now resolves and forwards AWS credentials when the dbt Redshift target uses method: iam.

Changes

  • Added a "Redshift with method: iam" section to the lightdash preview guide covering:
    • Local credential resolution via iam_profile (SSO-friendly) or the default provider chain.
    • The aws sso login + lightdash preview workflow, with a note that forwarded temporary credentials expire.
    • Fail-fast behaviour when the chain resolves nothing.
    • Scope note pointing durable Redshift IAM connections at assumeRoleArn on the project connection page.

Context

Follows lightdash/lightdash#25032, which teaches the CLI to resolve the local AWS credential chain and forward the resulting keys/session token for Redshift IAM preview connections.
