i like building systems. sometimes they're visual experiments, sometimes they're backend tools, sometimes they're just an excuse to understand how something works. i enjoy taking ideas apart, finding constraints, and turning them into software.

rubric — a reading application for macos. epub, fictionbook, mobi, pdf and comics, set the way a book is set: a real gutter, notes in the margin, nine papers. it reads a book aloud and hands back an m4b, and for russian it knows where the stress falls. rust engine, 504 tests.

dead-deps — find abandoned npm dependencies, and what replaced them. the hard part is not finding quiet packages, it is not calling ms dead: silence is measured against each package's own release history. 81 hand-verified successions, 0% false positives on a labelled corpus.

findyourcode — search a codebase by what the code does, not the words in it. reject a request without a valid ticket finds the middleware though reject appears nowhere in the repository. tree-sitter chunking, hybrid retrieval, one sqlite file, offline.
