AppleALC no sound

Just a question: Is it enough to use AppleALC with the appropriate layout to drive the sound card? With the L560, I can't get any sound to work with AppleALC on Sequoia. AppleALC only starts with layouts 28 and 29; AppleHDA doesn't start. It's the same sound card as in the L460.

Yes, sounds work perfectly fine, I've been daily driving it for about 2 years now.
