That's not an issue....more a request for help!
How about replacing the adjustable potentiometer with some buttons?
How about not only adding the fire, left and right buttons but more like direction cross UP/DOWN LEFT/RIGHT FIRE etc.
So you can use the same setup for other or future game portings.
