Finds the kills in your Population: ONE recordings and cuts a clip out of each one.
A Hopzle Toolkit app — free, and it runs entirely on your own PC.
You record your gameplay. Clip Hopper watches the kill feed for your name and saves a separate clip around every kill and every death — named after the other player, so you can find the one you want.
Then it can join the clips you pick into a single video for posting, in the normal shape or tall for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
No editing, no scrubbing through an hour of footage.
- Download the installer and run it. It installs just for you, so it never asks for an administrator password.
- Windows will probably say "Windows protected your PC". That appears for any app without a paid certificate. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- Open Clip Hopper from your desktop or Start menu.
You need: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and about 6 GB of disk space. An NVIDIA graphics card makes it roughly twenty times faster — it still works without one, it just takes hours instead of minutes, and the app tells you which mode it is in.
- Add your videos — MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV and WEBM all work.
- Type your in-game name, spelled exactly as the kill feed shows it, clan tag and all. Nearly every case of "it found nothing" is a small difference here.
- Press Find my clips and leave it running.
- Make a reel when it is done: tick the clips you want, put them in order, and save one video to post.

There is a Create support file button at the bottom of the window. It puts a
.zip on your desktop containing the logs — bring that to the
Hopzle Discord and it shows exactly what
happened: what your PC is, whether the graphics card was used, every name it
read, and every clip it tried to write.
The terminal readout tickbox next to Find my clips shows the same thing live while it works.
Everything happens on your computer. Your videos are never uploaded anywhere, and the support file contains only the app's own logs and settings — never any of your footage.
The one thing that touches the internet: when it starts, Clip Hopper checks
hopzle.com for a newer version so it can tell you one exists. If you are
offline it carries on quietly.
This started as a tool to hand to someone who does not use a command line — so first and foremost it is an app you install, not a project you set up.
But all of it is here: the app, the OCR, the kill-feed parsing. It is GPL-3.0, so fork it, fix it, make it read a different game's kill feed. If you share your version you have to share its source too, which means nobody can take this closed-source.
