Auto Scrolling

Auto-scrolling can be activated via a shortcut command (Options > Shortcuts) or through the UI Window. Please note that Infy Scroll is primarily an Auto Pager and is not intended to be used as an Auto Scroller. This is why the steps are more involved than a simpler dedicated Auto Scroller app/exension, which can be activated in a single click.

If you want to auto-scroll a web page or customize the Auto Scroll settings, perform the following steps in the UI Window:

  1. Click the toolbar icon to open the UI Window
  2. Click the "Swirl" button (Extra Settings) in the bottom-right corner to open the Extra Settings Dialog
  3. Toggle on the Auto-scroll the page switch and set the desired behavior and speed values

Infy Scroll is designed behind the concept of 1) performing an action, like clicking an element on the page, and 2) appending something, like page elements. If you don't need Infy to perform an action or append anything while auto-scrolling the page, you can do the following (note that this is all explained in the Auto-scroll switch tooltip):

  1. For the action, select Click Element with an empty Click Element Path
  2. For the append mode, select None

Unless you need it, you should make sure that the AUTO toggle in the bottom-left corner is not toggled on.

Lastly, click the Accept Button and it should start auto-scrolling the page for you.

To turn off the auto-scroll, click the toolbar icon and then the Power Button (or you can enter the Auto Scroll shortcut to toggle it off/on).

Important Note: Auto Scrolling is a non-standard feature of the app and it may be removed or changed in the future. It's recommended to use a dedicated Auto Scroller app/extension if you need better auto-scrolling functionality.
