I'm a software engineer and the founder of Hadlock Technologies, my independent software and infrastructure business. I build and operate web platforms, mobile apps, and native desktop software, taking projects from the first design through deployment and day-to-day maintenance.
Much of my work starts with an operational problem: getting people through a race track's gates, replacing a paper workflow, or giving someone better tools to run their business. I work across the application, database, and infrastructure, with particular attention to reliability, clear interfaces, and systems I can understand and maintain.
- Racetix — Ticketing for short tracks, with payments, admission scanning, mobile apps, and reporting.
- RaceHub — The public website, CMS, and mobile fan experience for Riverhead Raceway, with schedules, news, lineups, results, and standings.
- beenvoice — Invoicing for freelancers and small businesses, with web and mobile apps, time tracking, recurring invoices, and background jobs.
- hadlockCMS — A multi-tenant website platform with visual editing, client branding, custom domains, publishing workflows, and agent integration through MCP.
- puter — A native SwiftUI system monitor for macOS, with process management and CPU, GPU, memory, storage, network, and power diagnostics.
- NativeLauncher — A macOS command palette built with Swift, AppKit, and SwiftUI, with fuzzy application search and an extensible command system.
I work primarily in TypeScript, Go, Swift, and Python. My web and mobile projects often use Next.js, React, Expo, tRPC, and PostgreSQL. Native macOS work takes me into AppKit, SwiftUI, and system APIs; on-device machine learning work includes MLX, llama.cpp, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
I also manage the systems behind the software: Linux servers, Docker deployments, networking, authentication, backups, and release pipelines. Some of my work lives in private or self-hosted repositories; my website covers more of it.
I graduated from Bucknell University with honors in Computer Science and Engineering in 2026 and am pursuing a master's in Computer Engineering at Boston University. At Bucknell, I built HRIStudio, a platform for reproducible human-robot interaction experiments, leading to two first-author IEEE RO-MAN publications and an honors thesis. My current focus is building products and growing Hadlock.
