Hi! I’m playing around with the lovely Astro theme, but I’m having trouble getting the character dialogue images to work on GitHub Pages. I’m using a base path (my site isn’t at the root), and the images in /public still 404 after building.
I haven’t changed the default character mapping yet — I’m just using the theme as-is. The images work perfectly locally, but they’re broken when hosted on GitHub Pages.
I’m new to coding, so I’m not sure if this is an easy fix or if I’m missing something. I’d really appreciate any guidance or advice — thank you so much!
