This is an Expo project created with create-expo-app.

Get started

1. Install dependencies

   npm install

2. Start the app

   npx expo start

In the output, you'll find options to open the app in a

• development build
• Android emulator
• iOS simulator
• Expo Go, a limited sandbox for trying out app development with Expo

You can start developing by editing the files inside the app directory. This project uses file-based routing.

Get a fresh project

When you're ready, run:

npm run reset-project

This command will move the starter code to the app-example directory and create a blank app directory where you can start developing.

Wi-Fi SSID support

• The connection screen reads the current Wi-Fi SSID with react-native-wifi-reborn. Android builds must declare and grant the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION permission so the native API can return the SSID.
• Apple restricts SSID visibility on iOS without enterprise entitlements. In those builds the UI falls back to other data and surfaces a helper message when the system withholds the network name.
• Expo Go does not bundle the Wi-Fi module. Create a custom development client or eject to the bare workflow to exercise SSID lookups on device.
