What happened

Linux version crashes ardour.

I don't have a mac and i don't do microsuck malware.

Steps to reproduce

1. start ardour
2. add plugin
3. double click the NAM plugin
4. click ok/add

Exact same thing happens to me but on reaper (version 7.79), and also I'm using CachyOS.

I have the same issue.
Arch, Wayland, Reaper 7.78. Tried VST3 and LV2 variant.
I think it has something to do with the NAM plugin being loaded at the same time. I removed NAM plugin, saved project, opened again without NAM and then it worked.

Tried it now and even if I have a new reaper project with just one track with no effects, whenever I try to load the tone3000 plugin it crashes.

Just tested 0.5.0, still same problems: crashes ardour, missing scroll bar on prefs, and audio on standalone doesn't work.

nope. I don't run prebuilt binaries from random sources, ESPECIALLY if they were hosted on a service now owned by MICROSUCK.

It has been quite hard to find the time to test this, but I will try in the next few days and I will let you know.

I'd like to point out crashes and full on OS freezes when using the IRs in the app on Reaper 7.79 on Linux Mint. Have to force restart my computer when I use IRs from the spaces section. Using an i5 CPU.

Been testing the Linux version (CachyOS, reaper 7.79) on this build and it has been working flawlessly, no more crashes. Tested the VST3, LV2 and CLAP versions of the plugin. Also tested with other nam plugins open at the same time in the same track and different audio tracks and it worked every time without crashing.

Also tried to recreate the crashes pointed out by CSumm using the IR's from the spaces section but it never crashed. Maybe distro or hardware specific problem?
