[ISSUE] The firewall is blocking the Nethunter connection (all permissions have been granted). #1504

Describe the bug
Hi there,

I’ve been trying to fix this for a long time—I’ve tried using scripts, modifying NetHunter, and checking the app itself, but nothing works...

I use a lot of apps, but this is the only one that has this issue, even though it has root access and all the necessary permissions are granted (including for related apps like root tools, shell, NetHunter Terminal, Termux, etc.). NetHunter won't connect to the internet; it only works if I turn off the firewall completely.

I hope you can help me resolve this; it is the only app out of the hundreds I use that has this problem with AFWall+.

Regards.

Firewall Logs
Please get the log from Menu -> Show Rules -> (menu) Export to storage and attach it here

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Samsung.
  • Android OS: Android 16 OneUI 8.5

Additional context
I’ve tried everything—modifying NetHunter and KaliTweaks (changing http to https, etc.).

I tested scripts in AFWall+.

I checked the phone...

It’s the only app with this issue: whenever there’s a system update or I try to download a package, the connection fails if the firewall is active. It doesn't matter if all connection permissions have been granted; the app simply ignores them and won't connect.

P.S. Related apps have the necessary permissions too—Termux, NetHunter Terminal, the NetHunter app, root apps, the shell, etc.

Regards.
