Recommend closing: verification of head b58c8f6 found no changes to gdown source or tests. The PR adds 5,634 committed virtual-environment files, seven IDE files, and eight generated scanner/report files, but no security fix. The archive protections recommended by the report already exist: tar extraction uses filter="data" on Python 3.12+ and explicit path, link, and special-file validation on older versions; ZIP extraction validates member paths. All 15 focused extraction tests pass on Python 3.10 and 3.14 at this head. This continues the same branch previously closed as #529. Any remaining suspected vulnerability needs a specific reproducer. |
