- **`[compat]` accepts SimpleSolvers 0.13 and GeometricProblems 0.9.** The two bounds widen rather
than move: `SimpleSolvers = "0.11, 0.13"` and `GeometricProblems = "0.8, 0.9"`, so an environment
that resolves the older pair still resolves. This combines the two open CompatHelper pull
requests, JuliaGNI/GeometricExamples.jl#1 and #2, into one change. Nothing else moves, and no
source file changes. The note above `GeometricIntegrators` still says the three solver bounds move
together and names SimpleSolvers 0.11; that sentence describes the lower end of the range, which
is unchanged, but whether GeometricIntegratorsBase 0.6 accepts SimpleSolvers 0.13 is a question
the resolver answers, not this file. CI is the check on both widenings.
- **`.gitignore` ignores the output directories, not just their extensions.** The repository relied
on extension patterns alone — `*.h5`, `*.hdf5`, `*.pdf`, `*.png` — which leave whatever else a run
